Hi, I am Milena, a photographer from Bulgaria. I live in Sofia and I love traveling. In the beginning One Day in Sofia was a place for photos of Sofia. These days I travel more and more around Bulgaria and other countries in Europe and I have discovered my new passion – travel photography.
Bulgaria is a beautiful country and it is worth getting to know. Through my pictures I will help you see it like you have never before. I search to capture beauty in my photography and show the essence and magic of every place I visit and I love sharing it with you.

Love your photos! Have visited Sofia a looong time ago, and loved it even under the communist regime (which really dates me, but ofay:) ). would like to visit it again if I weren’t on the other side of the world…. So, does this mean you are Bulgarian?

Thank you! Yes I am from Bulgaria 🙂 You are very welcome to visit. Sofia might be a bit of an ugly duckling but it is very relaxed and welcoming and it has changed a lot the last few years.
