Koprivshtitsa i a historic Bulgarian town on the southern side of the Balkan Mountain, around 100 km from Sofia.  Koprivshtitsa is one of the symbols of Bulgaria. During the National Revival period in the 19th century the town was a thriving center of culture, crafts, commerce and revolutionary activities.
