This has been the most beautiful and coldest winter Bulgaria has seen in years. In the beginning of January, I travelled to Etar Open Air Museum. The tiny village is a reconstruction of a typical Bulgarian village and it takes you back in time. When we went there the snow was falling and it was covering this magical place. Etar has many craft shops, where you can buy village artefacts and souvenirs made by hand by the craftsman who work there. They are fascinating to observe. This beautiful winter day was also freezing, so we spent several hours hiding from the snow in the cozy traditional tavern. Inside we ate tasty country dishes by the fire and enjoyed the magical atmosphere.
One Day In Sofia 
We were in Etura once in the summer of 1996 and it was beautiful in that season. But your photos clearly show how magical it can look in winter as well. Thank you for sharing.
