This is not some storybook character, the Thirsty Dragon is a unique pub/restaurant in Sofia. It is something really distinctive, and one of those places that has succeeded in creating a beautiful atmosphere, while remaining very original. The menu is quite conventional, unlike the restaurant. I went there for the first time on a hot summer evening with a big group of people and ever since I associate it with hot summer evenings. It has a beautiful yard, shaded by trees, so it really is perfect for summer evenings and dining outdoors.
