The beginning of May was an ideal time to travel, because 1 May to 6 May were holidays. My destination was the old town of Plovdiv, which is a beautifully preserved part of the city with cobble streets and houses from the National Revival. In the morning before my trip I went to Memento on Vitosha boulevard for a quick breakfast – cappuccino and brioche. I really enjoyed it – they serve delicious coffee drinks and the best cocktails in Sofia and it is always full of tourists stopping for a drink. That day I felt like one of them – visiting the cool cafe in town before my trip to one of Bulgaria’s must-see places.
